News and Community Happenings We Are Moving to a New Location!

December 1st, 2009, we will move into our newly built facility at 183 West State Street (Route 202) in Granby, Mass., just a stone's throw from our old location. We will be in the Chateau Harmony Annex (the annex connected to the big red Chateau Harmony barn on Route 202).  We have renamed ourselves, "Woodson & Associates" to include the new members of our team and to commemorate my beloved late husband, Dr. Robert Halford Woodson, who died in 2005 from pancreatic cancer.  We are very excited about our expansion!  Please drop in, see the new space, and meet our new staff members.  We look forward to seeing you!

In the Community

Woodson & Associates is dedicated to our Pioneer Valley community.

► In 2010, we added cellist and music therapist Eric Remschneider as an associate.  Eric is a cellist, string arranger, composer and Grammy nominee whose work can be heard on over 11 platinum albums.

► In 2009, we became a National Public Radio underwriter.

► In 2010, we were a sponsor of Northampton Pride.

► In 2009, we began collecting and distributing food, clothing, and other essentials to clients in need.  Dr. Woodson visits with people unable to travel to the office, in their homes, or at shelters, and distributes goods to clients, their families and their neighbors.

► In 2009, we established a fund for gender-noncomforming people in need.  While the fund is small, we have been able to provide folks money for food, child care, and transportation to medical appointments.

► Since 2008, we have been providing space for community support groups free of charge.

► We recently began providing free, supportive services for parents of young children with bipolar disorder.
